Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager – Travel & Ticketing to drive business growth, manage key accounts, and strengthen our presence in Oman and the GCC travel market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate and leisure travel sales, ticketing operations, and business development, with a strong network in the region. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build high-performing sales teams and deliver measurable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for travel and ticketing services in Oman and GCC
  • Identify and acquire new corporate, SME, and individual clients, and expand existing accounts
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Design and implement promotions, packages, and special offers to increase market share

Account & Relationship Management

  • Manage and grow strategic corporate accounts, travel agents, and partners
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and personalized service
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Address client queries, complaints, and service issues proactively

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
  • Conduct performance appraisals, training sessions, and development programs for the team
  • Set clear KPIs, sales targets, and incentives for the sales team

Operations & Coordination

  • Collaborate with ticketing, reservations, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor sales pipeline, track progress, and report regularly to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and customer standards

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
  • Monitor sales metrics and suggest corrective actions when needed
  • Provide insights for strategic business decisions

Key Requirements

  • 15 – 25 years of proven sales experience in the Travel & Ticketing industry
  • Strong prior exposure to Oman or GCC travel markets
  • In-depth knowledge of airline ticketing, corporate travel management, leisure packages, and travel technology
  • Established corporate and agent network in Oman / GCC preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills
  • Leadership experience, including managing and motivating sales teams
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree / Diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or related field
  • IATA or equivalent travel certifications
  • Knowledge of global ticketing systems, corporate travel management, and travel technology
