Description:
Role Purpose
To drive sales of electrical products and solutions by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and achieving assigned sales targets. The role involves technical understanding of electrical products and providing customers with expert guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in the electrical market segment.
- Generate leads through market research, client visits, and industry networking.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on electrical products and services to potential clients.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, MEP companies, project managers, and procurement teams.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales customer support.
- Handle customer queries, quotations, and negotiations professionally.
3. Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise
- Develop a strong understanding of electrical products (switchgear, cables, lighting, panels, components, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal technical teams for customized solutions.
- Keep updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product offerings.
4. Sales Operations & Coordination
- Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and follow-ups until closure.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Coordinate with logistics and finance teams for order processing, delivery, and payment follow-up.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum 2–6 years of experience in sales within the electrical industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical products, MEP projects, and market dynamics.
- Valid driving license (as applicable).
