\We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Head to lead the Trucks, Buses & Commercial Vehicles division of a premier automotive group in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, profitability, market share, and operational excellence across all commercial vehicle segments. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction and ensuring strong brand positioning in a highly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Leadership:
o Define and implement long-term business strategies for the commercial vehicle division in alignment with corporate objectives.
o Identify new market opportunities, segments, and product lines to expand business reach.
o Develop and manage the division’s annual budget, targets, and business plans.
· Sales & Marketing:
o Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of revenue and volume targets.
o Lead the development and execution of effective sales, marketing, and promotional strategies.
o Strengthen relationships with OEM partners and manage dealership/franchise agreements.
· Operational Management:
o Oversee day-to-day operations including sales, aftersales, logistics, and service performance.
o Optimize inventory, pricing strategies, and fleet sales programs.
o Ensure seamless coordination between departments to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Team Leadership:
o Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales and operational team.
o Drive a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and regular reviews.
o Ensure training and development programs are in place for skill enhancement.
· Customer & Stakeholder Management:
o Cultivate strong relationships with key fleet customers, government bodies, and strategic accounts.
o Act as the face of the division for external stakeholders and represent the company in trade and industry events.
· Financial Oversight:
o Monitor P&L, ensure cost control, and drive profitability initiatives.
o Analyze market trends, sales data, and business performance to support data-driven decision making.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
· Minimum 20 to 25+ years of progressive experience in the automotive commercial vehicle industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
· Proven track record in managing sales, aftersales, and business operations in Trucks, Buses, and CVs.
· Exposure to GCC or Middle East markets is highly desirable.
· Strong leadership and strategic thinking
· Excellent market knowledge of CV industry (including fleet, heavy trucks, light commercial vehicles, and buses)
· Financial and commercial acumen
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Customer-centric approach with strong negotiation skills
· Ability to manage multicultural teams and work in a dynamic business environment
